The Orphanage

The orphanage, school, and Pastor J's home, who runs the orphanage, school, hospital and church, were destroyed. The boys now sleep in tents, the school meets in tents with dividers (the the UNICEF tent).

Where the people are standing and back behind the two tents is where the buildings used to stand.




This is where the boys sleep. We were at the orphanage twice---both times in the evenings. There is no electricity and it gets VERY dark!!




This is the gate or entrance to the orphanage. Most buildings or homes (except when we were in Thamzaeu) have walls around them to protect them.
